How does the Mark One Mail Order Subscription system work?

At it’s simplest our subscription or pull and hold service is where you tell us what titles you would like held aside for you every time a new chapter, volume etc is published. We stash them aside on release and send them your way once we have reached a chosen-by-you time or amount of comics on hand .
eg. We have customers who like to get deliveries whenever we have 6 issues ready to send or on the 1st of each month (some customers choose two dates each month and some prefer a delivery every week).
Payment
Each shipment can be paid via direct deposit into our bank account or online via our store credit top ups. Some customers choose to maintain a prepaid credit amount with Mk1 - arrivals are deducted from this amount and dispatched quickly - meaning no waiting around for emails to go back and forth.
Choosing Comics
We can provide the monthly Marvel previews catalogue free of charge , we always include comic shop news with each package and there are a variety of regular posts on the Mk1 site… The Coming Soon posts are monthly summaries of groupings of comics - with separate Marvel, DC, Manga & Media and Mature/Misc listings of new buzzworthy titles.. and the one-a-month summary showcasing the best of all these groupings. Each of these posts can be automatically emailed on request. The This Week/Next Week posts link you through to each week’s gallery of every new comic arriving at Mk1 -we can email this out each week as it’s announced…
eg.Quite a few customers email or facebook message us their picks from the weekly cover galleries just ahead of the comics arriving at Mk1 each week. Many others will use the monthly announcements to book their picks in early (our order sorting system fills comic requests in the order received so their is definitely an advantage to ordering early).
You can place orders via email or via the Comixology system. This system links your comixology pull list with Mk1 - that way you can order individual comics and set up ongoing requests to titles through the Comixology app. More info about that method can be found here.
Things to keep in mind when setting the subscription up:
We don’t charge for delivery for Mk1 subscribers but the minimum delivery is two comics. Two to five comics will ship free of charge via NZ POST. 6 or more comics or any delivery containing a Comic Pack or Graphic Novel will ship free of charge via Tracked delivery. Orders can be combined to avoid extra freight costs… choose the Mk1 subscribers only delivery option each order even if you are only buying a single comic from the Mk1 website - we will hold your purchase with your normal orders till we reach the point set by you where a delivery is dispatched..
