MK1 Festive Hours announced - We will be open from 9am to 6pm everyday between the 19th of December and Christmas Eve.  We will be shut CHRISTMAS DAY, NEW YEAR’S EVE, NEW YEARS DAY and DAY AFTER NEW YEAR’S DAY.

MK1 Monthly Newsletter : Ideally this message would have gone out earlier in the month but it’s been a hectic busy month so far and something had to give..  Instead of previewing the October new arrivals in detail I’ll take a machine gun approach and fire off a few key links for the upcoming even busier months..  

Lots happening at Mk1 - not the least of which was the very cool news that MK1 is this year’s Retail Winner in the Hamilton Central Business District awards.. We enjoyed a nice night out at the award ceremony capped off with the win itself!  All winners from the Hamilton Central awards have been announced here.   Congrats to everyone involved and to the Hamilton Central Business association for putting on such a great night.

Walking Dead Day: We celebrated 15 years of Walking Dead last Saturday.. X-Mas Week & Beyond!  A quick headsup about our plans for the next couple of weeks .. the shop will be open till at least 6pm ahead of this Christmas Eve (Sunday 24th of December we will be open till 5pm). During this week we will be working through all the jobs and all the website orders etc and will be staying later than 6pm if we need to to get everything done.  With that in mind if it is after 6pm and you want to visit give the shop a call  07 8393728 to see if we are about (no promises but worth a call at least!)  

Secondly we are planning to be shut a few extra days than we usually do round the New Years Break.. We will shut on Sunday the 31st of December at 4pm and will remain shut for the first week of January 2018 reopening on Saturday 6th of Jan 2018 between 9am and 5pm, Sunday 7th of Jan between 10am and 4pm - with normal hours and services resuming Monday 8th of Jan.   While we are away our webstore will be switched off as nobody will be at the shop to pack up any orders!  Look for the return of the webstore on Monday the 8th of Jan.

Weekend Announcements…

2. POP Vinyl Damaged Box Sale… From Saturday morning we will have a table full of the recent damaged delivery of  POP vinyl figures - $15 for the regular Pop vinyl figures and $30 for the large Pop figures.  Any leftover will be listed in an email offering next week.

3. Say “See you later Ella!”  It’s Ella’s last Saturday as she hikes off to Otago University - drop in and wish her well  - we will miss Ella heaps.
